Easy Green Juice Recipe to Cleanse and Hydrate

This is an easy one! A green juice recipe that can be a staple in your diet (especially beneficial in the spring).

Here are some basic guidelines: use organic vegetables, wash all vegetables prior to juicing and drink at room temperature (not cold or with ice cubes). Consume within a few days.

Base recipe to make enough juice for approximately 3-4 days for 2 people:

  • 4-5 bunches of organic celery

  • 3-4 cucumbers

  • 4-5 leaves of lacinato kale

Optional add ons: juice of half a lemon or more, ginger or turmeric, freshly ground black pepper.

Directions: place all vegetables through juicer and store in fridge until ready to drink. If you don’t have a juicer, you can blend everything in a high powered blender then strain the pulp with cheesecloth to get the juice.  Consume at room temp and remember that this juice is not pasteurized so it won’t have the same shelf life as something you purchase in the grocery store.

Drink daily in the morning and notice how you feel!
